Friday.Already?
the week went by fast (woo-hoo!) i'm glad that the weekend is here and i am counting down until my last day of finals, which is next thursday!
been thinking (that's rare.. :P) maybe i should remove the Reblogger thingie/application/script/whatever off the site. no one is responding. hopefully they are reading these somewhat daily rants. well, even if anyone isn't reading this stuff, its a good way to let off some steam. notice how i complain at least one in almost all of the entries. I just glanced at the site and it suggests that Blog Back should be installed due to problems with Reblogger.
Ok. so there is some hope that someone is reading this :D
Um, i just continue to read on the install page that they are no longer accepting new users for Blog Back. Oh well, i'll look for something else to use on the site.
That's cool. I would like to revamp the site anyways. Been working on some new artwork for the site with a lot of assistance from the fontalicious dingbats. if you visit the site, be sure to download these dingbats: deejay supreme, chickabiddies, the kids, and superstar dj. Be sure to get the porky's font too. I remember seeing it on this site before in one of the layouts of the past.

A.Sweet.Monday (for once)
Ok, the Thanksgiving holiday is over. Now back to some point of normalcy (if that is a word...).
Today has been cool so far for it to be a Monday. My Spanish class was cancelled yet again, due to my teacher being out sick. That'll give me a few extra days to memorize my lines for the spanish oral presentation that I have to do with a classmate of mine, who also happened to attend the same high school as I did. And speaking of high school, I received an email from a good friend of mine last week about an informal get together for the classes of 1987 to 2001 in early December. I'm not sure about going for some reason. I can recall at graduation way back in the year 2000 :P that some people that I was sitting close to were crying because they were leaving high school. Awww, how cute... Man! I couldn't wait until the ceremonies were over! That was the last night that I had to deal with some of those people as classmates! I was free, free!
Ok, ok, that was a bit exaggerated, I do miss my friends, but I was so looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life, the future seemed exciting to me (and it still does). I think going to that impromptu reunion will place me back a little, to a place that I don't prefer to visit again, that being those wonderful yet awkward high school years.
Back to the events of today, things are sweet for it to be a Monday.
But things will drastically change next week....because of finals... :P

life ain't great now, but it's much improved
-Bubba Sparxxx, Ugly
I've been so caught up with adjusting with the death of my father, that I haven't been blogging at all in the past few weeks. I guess the reason that I quote the song if for the fact that it sums up my entire life right now. I'm feeling as if I am getting closer with some of my relatives, and the bond between me and my friends have greatly strengthened.
It just feels weird not having my Dad around, physically. I'm used to seeing him when I get home from campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays, when he didn't have to go for his dialysis treatments. Sometimes he would open the front door before I could even find my keys in my bookbag. They always managed to sink to the bottom.
I'm gonna miss the small things like that.
I'm also gonna miss how we used to talk about worldly affairs. My Dad knew a lot of stuff. He was smart! :)
For right now, I am adjusting well to not having him here. Without a doubt, I will keep him in my heart. Our house seems so big now, with only my Mom and I there. We've been in that house for over 10 years now. We moved in on my Dad's birthday (Aug. 26) now that I recall.
The house has never felt so empty in my entire life.
An Extra Note: according to the death certificate that my mother just recieved on Wednesday, Dad passed away on the 25 of October, not the 24th as printed on the obituary, in the newspaper, and in all the minds and hearts of all of the people that loved him.
